absmiami Posted November 14, 2024 Author Posted November 14, 2024 the kit featured great decals and art work - that was Michael's calling card it also had alot of photo-etch and a multi-piece engine - which set the kit apart from most other limited production resin kits thirty years ago - I used some of those parts and made some of my own - and cribbed a couple of parts from the Replicas and Miniatures [hi Norman] GTO resin eng kit - to make my own Ferrari 125 small block 12 ... which Harold Bradford agreed to cast for me ...

1959scudetto Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 Excellent model, Andrew - filled with details (I followed your WIP) - Mike Q. would be proud... didn't Paul Fisher do the castings ?
absmiami Posted November 14, 2024 Author Posted November 14, 2024 I thought he did - casting was very good - but he may not have .... and the castings that PF produced under his own name were actually better but never figured out who did the master - which was quite accurate .... Gramps mite know ... he mite have told me - and i mite have forgot !
Gramps46 Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 I understood Paul did the casting. Not sure who did the master though.
Rich Chernosky Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 A lot of effort there Andy. And very well documented too. All well worth it. The model is a masterpiece.
