Strange Brew

Today, as I dug around my model kits I noticed something that kept repeating, and that was how many kits have Miller Beer on them! 

Here are some, if not all of them. What other brands have this many kits branded with their products? Coors, maybe?

Sadly, not great sellers, at least on the secondary market. I could not give them away at a kit show! Some of the older stuff goes, but the newish types doesn't move.

They were pretty liberal with their marketing, I've built 3 or 4 of those.  Can't do beer or cigs anymore unless you get aftermarket decals.

It's too bad the old Indy cars didn't sell.  That's why it took so long to get a modern one from Salvino's.

Odd that an airplane  has Miller  as a sponsor. 

I've never seen that before so it may be just me.

All of those race cars were really sponsored by them. It's just how much merchandising/ licensing they did.

I think Coca-Cola by far is the biggest. Not as many race cars, but they did put it on a monster truck. But they aren't really sponsored vehicles like the Miller beer ones are either.

When I see the phrase "Strange Brew" I think of these hosers. I bet I'm not the only one. 😁😉

You don’t see The. Miller 27 nascar because it was changed to number2.  I always liked Rusty Wallace..
