Old Buckaroo Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Wow - upon first looking at this Id sworn it was a r/c boat with dressed up two stroke engines. Your level of detail and painting is top notch !! 1
espo Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Beautiful looking hull finish with the wood veneer. Like the dual engines and the extensive engine detailing. This boat kit is a great base to build off of, wish there were more boat kits to build. 1
Street Rod Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Beautiful boat! The veneer work and the engines and detailing is superb. Ten thumbs up! 1
Plastheniker Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Fantastic result, hard to believe that a Revell kit was the basis! 1

alan barton Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago What a brilliant idea! I have struggled to get a realistic wood grained paint job on my AMT boat and the answer was staring me in the face all along - use wood! Can't wait to try this - thanks for the inspiration! Could you tell me what glue you used ? Cheers Alan 1
