This is an original issue 72 kit. Built out of the box except wheels and tires. Paint is a new Toyota green that is similar to a factory green from 72. Has way better metallic than the original.

The Chevelle and the Monte Carlo were the iconic symbols of the early 70's Chevolet line up, a automotive  muscularity of style.  Fantastic color you laid on it.

At one time I wouldn't spray a different manufacturer paint if it wasn't what was factory ....but then nobody knew any better and it looked just as good!   Great build!

The paint color shows the body lines well and looks nice and smooth. The wheels and disc brakes look great.

As an automotive painter I can say this. Every color is nothing but a paint manufacturer formula number. Therefore Ford GM Toyota or whoever could have used the same exact color at one time or another.
