Falcon Ranchero Posted February 21 Posted February 21 The '60 Catalina from Simon Birch was a pretty nice car but I like cars like that. Also other background vehicles from the movie were cool. Movie from 1998 took place in '64.
Falcon Ranchero Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Also a whole bunch of great car in It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World That last one just sailed right out there 3 1
Can-Con Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Here's one from one of my favorite movies, bonus points if you know which movie the pics are from. The remake of the movie can't hold a test tube to the original. 1 1

89AKurt Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I haven't see much about the 'Mad Max' movies, who doesn't like the star? I recently checked out YT videos about the cars, now I want to watch the last one. For all the hype about the Ferrari in the 'Thomas Crown Affair', it had about 30 seconds of time, and never heard it run, so this is like a footnote here. Didn't stop me from building the Italeri: Ferrari 275 N.A.R.T. - Thomas Crown Affair. 🙂

Falcon Ranchero Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I have to admit I like Columbo's Peugeot. Apparently throughout the 1971-78 and 1989-2003 series the car was in every episode except for one that took place in England and one that took place on a boat (both 70s episodes). Also other cars throughout the series. For now that's enough but there's more likeable cars to show

NYLIBUD Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Funny,I came across this in the inter web.Thought it would be interesting.(.Internet Movie Cars Database (IMCDb) is an online database of auto, motorcycle and other motor vehicle appearances in films. The website was created in 2004 with a name similar to Internet Movie Database)🤔👍 1

It really is the best place to find out movie and tv cars that you may not be sure what they are.

Little Timmy Posted February 22 Posted February 22 (edited) https://youtu.be/JbCsRgsthz4?si=N3I7p3G7iZRjm_Yi Anybody remember THX 1138 ? At one point ( Just as the chase starts) the camera scans the dash, and the speedometer is reading 250 MPH. The radio claims his speed at 235 MPR Later in the chase. They re-edited this film and made the chase scene longer, but I like the original better. Edited February 22 by Little Timmy Added more usless information 1
Chuckyg1 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 After giving it some thought, this is probably the first TV/ movie car I was exposed to. Supercar! This was before I discovered Speed racer, I'm thinking the early sixties. Was there ever a kit made of it? 3
