This is my first completion of 2025 and the 5th of 8 ‘32 Ford models I am building for Deuce Days in Scale this July in Victoria BC.  It is the latest Revel Roadster body with the Duval Windshield which I had used as a test body for some painting and highlighting techniques I wanted to use on a previous project.

I decided this build would be show & go inspired so it would need a supercharged engine, drag slicks, a roll bar, a drag chute, lots of chrome and all should be over the top. The are so many historic Deuces that influenced this model starting with Tom McMullin’s flamed blown Hi-Boy, Phil Cool’s 1978 AMBR winning supercharged big-block roadster with monster drag slicks, Pete Chapouris’ Limefire, a few Deuce roadsters built specifically for drag racing and of course Stacey David’s Rat Roaster.

Great paint color and scallops. The clean assembly everywhere you look is what catches my eye first. Glad you listed the sources of your modifications to the basic kit, gives sort of a road map.

Phil amazing build!  The first 2 1:1 cars I thought of were Chappuris’ Limefire and Boyce Asquith’s yellow one.  I always love a street rod with brawn to match the beauty.  -Mark
