I bought this body years ago from Jimmy Flintstone's site. It is some sort of fictional sedan delivery. I am using the Revell Thom Taylor 34 as the parts kit.

I lowered the suspension and it is completed.

Paint is airbrushed green nail polish. The white is Rustoleum White primer with Pearl White nail polish airbrushed over it. Thinking I'll do a light green pinstripe between the two colors.

I still need to scratchbuild some interior panels for the cargo area.

Absolutely correct to start from a Thom Taylor kit, your build brings back memories of the 90s and Tom's phantom sketches. I like these phantoms because they show how incredibly good the original design is in that they can be changed.

Thanks! I was just thinking this morning of calling it "Shades of the 90's". It reminds me of looking through the old Street Rodder magazines in the 90's. Here it is mocked up after I painted the upper body last night. Unfortunately it has a bit of trash in the paint on the roof. I'm afraid to mess with it because it will be a bear to blend in. Got to lower the height of the radiator a bit. It's making the hood sit too high.

Now to find some light green pinstripe.

Looking good Tom. Are you going to put an accent stripes in-between the two colors?

Thanks Sam! Yes, I'm hoping to find something like a thin (maybe 1/16 inch) lime green or light green stripe in my stash of decals.

I don't remember where they came from. I've had them kicking arouns for years. I would luke to find some more. I sanded the backs of them so that the spokes are open.

I finished this thing up a couple weeks ago. This did not turn out as well as I wanted. The body did not fit well with the kit fenders but I got it crammed together with lots of super glue and activator. At least it will look good on my shelf. I call it "Shades of the 90's" since it looks like something you would have seen in Street Rodder magazine back then.
