But it all works for a really eye catching look. Top stuff. 👍🏻 Thanks Stuart! That was my bet: would it work? I guess so... CT
AmericanMuscleFan Posted March 24 Posted March 24 You mentioned: "The gods of styrene were talking to me in my sleep!" but I don't think that's true because I don't think you sleep at all my friend, to make such creations you have to stay awake 24/7 making you a hybrid between human and robot! 😁 Jokes aside, this is another quality creation that proves you can build anything with wheels no matter how many (4 isn't necessarily a limit for you)! The chances of coming back with trophies are greater when you are diversified and your arsenal will be impressive again this year! Make some space on your shelf my friend, it's very promising, too bad I can't be there to applaud you... 😔
happy grumpy Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Wow, this one's bitchin' . Once again , your craftsman ship make this one another winner. Du bon travail mon ami!
Jim Whalen Posted March 25 Posted March 25 It is always impressive to see people come up with another take on a '32 Ford. When you remove the roof and pop the bonnet it reveals another level of fabrication - I'm sure people will enjoy looking at it on the show circuit and that the judges will be impressed as well.

Your super clean builds are inimitable and always instantly recognizable, even without the green valve stems, ha ha! You are a true designer at heart, and one of the few who focus on the full package! Fantastic work. Thanks Stef! My friend Francis Laflamme, well kown on this forum for his stellar builds (American Muscle Car), keeps poking fun at me for my green valve stems caps. However, I sometimes pass on them, as is the case here. Oh well... 1

Do you ever build cars that haven't been stretched? Build a shorty, I dare ya!! Hi Chris! Well, since I'm a "competitive" guy, your dare kept me awake for the last 8 days! But, voilà: here are two "short" creations, to please you, I hope... Now, if you will excuse me, I got to get some sleep! CT
Spex84 Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Haha what!! Are these previous builds or did you really just spend 8 days building new models?? Well either way I think they're great. Always a lot of thought put into the engineering and accessories on your builds. I'm diggin' the removable hardtop on the van, the cooler and gear bag and cartoony look of the oversized wheel/tire package...and are those flowers on the package tray of the Chrysler? Whatever they are, that little hit of color is a nice detail. I am satisfied! 😄

I reassure you: I DO sleep, and maybe that's why my dreams provide me with some unusual ideas. Go figure... To your point about diveraity: I fully agree. Next weekend, I will put, on the tables, my ``usual`` new pro-tourers, rods and Bonneville & drag cars, but also something different: a unique Spyder motorcycle (the racing variety !?!), and an electric racing snowmobile, scratchbuilt from, amongst other things, a discarted wireless phone receiver. Inspiration comes from strange places, eh? Curious to see how people will react... CT

Thank you Doc! I wanted to mix the clean and functionnal (chassis & interior), with the more decrepit weatjhered shell of the rat rod school. Happy with the results! CT

To your point: those are older builds, that generated lotsa smiles... but no trophies! And yes: these are flowers (and a card) on the rear shelf of the 300C. CT
