Still no rain!  I even washed Fakerri, did the 50 mile Skull Valley loop (I used to be able to ride a bicycle on that).  I even aimed where the clouds were, top down.  Just more sunset pictures.  Tonight it's 72ºF, 18% humidity, heard it's been record low dew point readings lately, not good for thunderstorm buildup.

That is Whiskey Row.  I don't dare go into a bar with this parked outside. 😏

I’m on Long Island, and just about an hour ago,we had a HUGE thunderstorm roll through...Im standing at  my front door.First the wind blew the door open, then pulled it out of my hands and slammed it shut.It poured for like 20 mins.Thunder, and some very close lighting..CrAzY😧Then it got hotter out,and now it’s sunny out.We needed the rain.

I was up in Rocky Point at a JR Steakhouse. I think it poured for 15 minutes, thunder but no wind.

Smithtown I heard had severe weather and power outages. Back home on the south shore looked like it had a little rain.

The thunderstorm that came through Boston yesterday took the humidity with it and it's sunny and pleasantly warm today. I could hop into my very trusty 08 Corolla and take a cruise but I'm too lazy to leave my place. The AC is doing a great job.

Partly sunny, humid and 82F outside..icky sticky with mosquitos.   Good weather to stay inside w/ cold AC and do house stuff...

It finally rained yesterday for a few hours. I did some food shopping and gardening before the rain.

Today 73 at 6 am and super sticky, RH is 83%. I'll take a dip in the pool, feed some plants, go back into the AC and do some housework. Maybe some wash.

Still disgusting outside by me. 77 F and 77% RH. I've been inside during the worst of the heat. I'm down to one small AC unit on the main floor.

Last night at dusk, the pool was 83. I gave everything a good watering. I'll rinse-repeat within the next hour.

More hot and humid.  As I get older, I really don't care for heat over about 80F...esp. when there is humidity.  Was 89F w/ about 80% humidity yesterday.   But my dual ACs are keeping the house very comfortable at 68F inside.

Overcast and coolish...75F...so the house isn't picking up any solar gain.

Good weather to sit at a keyboard for hours justifying my exorbitant charges...if there is any such thing.

EDIT: I'd sure rather be hiking or go for a drive in the country, but I have zero admin support in either shop...as an autonomous subcontractor...so I gotta do what I gotta do.

My fluffy girl Soraya is wearing an improvised thunder shirt to keep calm, plus I am offering plenty of physical comfort

It rained for about 15 minutes last evening. Ivan the cat associates rain with thunder, he senses it hours in advance. I see him slinking across the floor on his belly.

77 F at 6 AM. I usually wait to put the AC on... but not this past week.

Things in the garden are struggling despite extra watering. I may lose a lot of my corn. I'm going to harvest celery and shallots soon.
