ricky12 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 have to go with model on this one was wrong last week but looking for a come back.
Guest promodmerc Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I'm going with model. The exhaust & side windows just don't look right to be real. I also hate to think someone would put those ugly wheels on a Daytona Cobra albeit a kit car.
Foxer Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 It's just too model looking. Those wheels have a problem.. liek someone messes with transparency in PS... an the floor is sure a diarama familiarity

Pete J. Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Im going with real on this one, though it is a kit car. Missing wind deflectors at the A pillar. Any modeler worth his salt would not miss that and surely would not slap such ugly rims on this car after spending so much time getting all the window rivets in place. Real - but some rich guys toy.
Scott H. Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I'm voting real, but I'm also agreeing that it's a Kit Car. With that said, since a Kit Car is more or less a Full Scale Model Car does that meen that everyone that votes Model on this one is correct??? -Scott H.
Harry P. Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 ...since a Kit Car is more or less a Full Scale Model Car does that meen that everyone that votes Model on this one is correct??? -Scott H. Uh...no. A "kit car" is a real car, isn't it? And there's no such thing as a "full scale model", that can't exist. A model of something is by definition a recreation or depiction of the original subject done in a smaller scale. We're playing "Real or Model" here... not "Authentic original or Aftermarket recreation/clone"... I hope that clears things up for you...
Zoom Zoom Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 A Cobra Daytona Coupe should never, ever look like it's from "Pimp my Ride".
1955chevy Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Hi Harry You have made my Monday's a little brighter, I look forward to this every Monday Keep up the good work This week I am going with - Model
Guest promodmerc Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Where is George? This is not like him. He is usually hounding Harry at 8am sharp.
george 53 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Harry, I think it's REAL. Just somthin about it,feels like it looks real!
2whl Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I'll say real. But whoever put those wheels on it should be shot! Even if it is a kit car.
Nick F40 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I love this car, but this has to be real, only for someone to be stupid enough to put those wheels on.
B_rad88 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I love this car, but this has to be real, only for someone to be stupid enough to put those wheels on. i know right! and i say real!
FujimiLover Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 While the wheels look ugly, the tires have that right shine to be real. I'm going to go with real this time probably displayed at some auto-show with that floor.
Custom Hearse Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 (edited) Uh...no. A "kit car" is a real car, isn't it? And there's no such thing as a "full scale model", that can't exist. Hmmm.... What about the full size clay "models" made by the auto manufacturers? (just giving you grief 'cause I was wrong the last 3 times on R.o.M. ) I think it's a kit car.... A "MODEL" kit car! Edited May 5, 2009 by Custom Hearse
Joe Handley Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Real, live kit car, but they should ditch those wheels for the ones like were used on the 67 Shelby version of Elenor.
Guest Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 (edited) I say real. The side glass, wheels and tires are to me what says real. Edited May 5, 2009 by midnightprowler
ki4dsy Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 (edited) I gotta go with real on this one. just doesnt say model to me. Edited May 5, 2009 by ki4dsy
