noname Posted Thursday at 11:10 PM Posted Thursday at 11:10 PM Amt 1960 Chevy Pick up. But you guys knew that:) 12
DJMar Posted Thursday at 11:32 PM Posted Thursday at 11:32 PM I dig it! I don't think this kit gets enough love, but you did it justice. Great weathering, too. If you don't mind revealing secrets, where did you get the ladder?
happy grumpy Posted Friday at 12:42 AM Posted Friday at 12:42 AM Love everything about this. The weathering is spot on. Lot of eye candy and that engine bay is so realistic. Bravo!
BK9300 Posted Friday at 01:01 AM Posted Friday at 01:01 AM Beautiful job! Lots of work hours put in by that old girl! Terrific weathering, too.
WillyBilly Posted Friday at 08:52 AM Posted Friday at 08:52 AM (edited) Great build. It looks so real. When you said Odd Jobs, I naturally thought of this guy from Gold Finger. Edited Friday at 09:48 PM by WillyBilly 1 1
STU111 Posted Friday at 12:10 PM Posted Friday at 12:10 PM I like this a lot. Really looks like it’s been doing some hard work for years. The dent in the side of the bed is a nice touch. The AMT 60 Chev truck is a nice kit. I built mine weathered as well. Top notch. 👍🏻
ncbuckeye67 Posted Friday at 02:24 PM Posted Friday at 02:24 PM That looks amazing! The weathering and added details really take it to the next level.
1959 Posted Friday at 05:51 PM Posted Friday at 05:51 PM Wow, I like it a lot! Weathering is excellent, not too much or too little. Also tools and other stuff in the bed is just perfect! One of the nicest weathered builds I have seen.
noname Posted Friday at 05:57 PM Author Posted Friday at 05:57 PM Thanks guys. I think this is my favourite build in my display case in terms of all my weathered builds. The 60 Chevy has so much character. I love the old James Bond movies. Sean Connery was the best Bond in my opinion. The ladder was scratch built. It's just a matter of cutting strips, drilling holes and joining the sides with round styrene rod. The truck colour ( and side dent) was taken from a picture of a 1:1 truck. I added the rack and details in my bed which just seemed proper to me. I often like stuff in the beds of my trucks. I'm almost finished a Dodge a100 that will have nothing in the bed for a change. Well, maybe a cardboard box or something. 1
espo Posted Friday at 08:36 PM Posted Friday at 08:36 PM Very realistic looking body damage and paint finishes. Like the overhead rack and the tools in the bed.
Zippi Posted Saturday at 12:51 AM Posted Saturday at 12:51 AM Oh yeah, I'm liking this one. Great looking 60 Chevy pickup.
PappyD340 Posted Saturday at 10:06 AM Posted Saturday at 10:06 AM Awesome build, very realistic and very well done!
tahiti7 Posted Saturday at 11:33 PM Posted Saturday at 11:33 PM Like others have said, great job on he weathering! And all the little details in the bed bring it to the next level.
