Probably one of the nicest models that I have built in many years.

The decals were not like Tamiya's usual offerings. These were thin and had very minimal carrier film. 

Painted with Mr. color finished with Alclad gloss

They came from Mengs Audi r-8 I know they are not correct for this car personally I think they add something to the overall look of the car

Yes, I agree with it adding something.  When I built mine, I saw photos online with Continental tires, and there are some things you just can't "unsee".

Looks great Robert👍   I've this kit since shortly after it came out but have been hesitant to build it thinking might be a bit of a difficult build.
