Zippi Posted August 4 Author Posted August 4 Well, the time had come to try and get the paint off the bmf on the script. It went better than I thought it would but my hands are a little to shaky for this kind of work. Not really sure if it was a success or not. The bars above and below the script will be bmf. 6 1

TarheelRick Posted Thursday at 10:05 PM Posted Thursday at 10:05 PM Now that is one fine paint job, if it got any slicker it wouldn't stay on the car. Going to be one wicked powerplant, should move that brick down the road fairly well.

Zippi Posted Friday at 07:21 PM Author Posted Friday at 07:21 PM I'm on the downside now and things are looking good. I need to polish out the 2k clear on the body, install all the chrome, paint the interior, and a lot of bmf. 2
meechum68 Posted Friday at 08:19 PM Posted Friday at 08:19 PM Bob, awesome work, love the 572, and the little touches you have done on this!

Cool Hand Posted Saturday at 06:50 PM Posted Saturday at 06:50 PM Going to look great once it all starts coming together, especially the chrome work. Bmf will be tedious, but certainly be worth the effort. 1

Zippi Posted yesterday at 04:19 PM Author Posted yesterday at 04:19 PM Well fellows....the jury is back and it's a unanimous decision, I just can't do quality work with bmf anymore. My hands shake a little and I can't seem to pull a straight line with the blade. This will be my last build that has this much bmf. It just really bothers me when I can't do a decent job with it. I still have a lot to go on this build and I'm dreading it. 1

This will give you something to help guide the blade and if it does jump onto the body it shouldn't leave a mark. Another bonus is that there would be little or no residue from the foil adhesive. Don't have the second cup of coffee in the morning may help as well. 2
