Sweet paint job on that Chevy.

Thanks much James.

Well, the time had come to try and get the paint off the bmf on the script.  It went better than I thought it would but my hands are a little to shaky for this kind of work.  Not really sure if it was a success or not.  The bars above and below the script will be bmf.

Engine is looking good Bob. And nice job on the FUP work.😎

Thanks.  I thought long and hard on the colors for the engine and I think with the black theme I have going on this fit the bill.

Now that is one fine paint job, if it got any slicker it wouldn't stay on the car. Going to be one wicked powerplant, should move that brick down the road fairly well.

Thanks man.  Just got the 2k clear shot on the body today.

I'm on the downside now and things are looking good.  I need to polish out the 2k clear on the body, install all the chrome, paint the interior, and a lot of bmf.

Going to look great once it all starts coming together, especially the chrome work.

Bmf will be tedious, but certainly be worth the effort.

Thanks Luke.  I hear ya on the bmf dude.

Well fellows....the jury is back and it's a unanimous decision, I just can't do quality work with bmf anymore.  My hands shake a little and I can't seem to pull a straight line with the blade.  This will be my last build that has this much bmf.  It just really bothers me when I can't do a decent job with it.  I still have a lot to go on this build and I'm dreading it.

Maybe try some masking tape along the edge of the molding that you are foiling. This will give you something to help guide the blade and if it does jump onto the body it shouldn't leave a mark. Another bonus is that there would be little or no residue from the foil adhesive. Don't have the second cup of coffee in the morning may help as well.

I appreciate the tip David.  Haha...you mean don't have that third cup of coffee.

Us old USAF vets have a permanent coffee cup molded to our hand, much like the teens today with their cell phones.
