WOW! That is mind-blowing! The vision and talent he has surpasses my wildest imagination. It blew me away when he said it took about a month to build that model…I was expecting a years long project. And all without a 3D printer.🤯 Thank you for posting that video.😎

Video was pretty cool, channel it is posted on not so much.
Given the channel owners shady history and current “God complex “ on his facebook page.

Thanks for posting the video, very cool to see it.

the YouTube channel that video was posted on, Luka Cee, is the resin caster formerly known as Matt Conte aka DenCon resin and also I believe at one point Lookout Resins.

He runs a Facebook group under the same name and has a superiority complex in that if your opinion differs from his or you disagree with him then you get removed, blocked, and banned. And God help you if you post anything about Rustoleum paints. The numerous paint experts and Nazis will come for your head.

yeah; there's that. but like me going to the local hardware store i never trade with, to buy (1) a bolt, washer, nut, to repair the painter's trailer door: i like the painter more than i dislike the hardware guy.

Richard Carroll was one of those names that seemed to be in every issue of model car magazines for quite some time. not to mention whatever physical challenges age has wrought upon him, his spirit is still there and he intends to straighten out all the damage time has done to his creations of, well, 40-45 years ago.

he won a Corvair, sold it, and then unloaded the T-Bird he bought with the money!

that snippet alone does my heart more good than all the negativity the other guy could inflict.

remember: NO ON CAN MAKE YOU FEEL ANYTHING. YOU HAVE THE POWER TO FEEL WHAT YOU WANT.

and just because someone says something, that does not make it so.

to leave on a positive note, apparently this interview is only the first of many.

i'll let someone else post the next one.

Thanks for posting up our video, Sid!

No "Wave." More like 9 months of searching, researching, travel, and hard work to get to that point. Passion project for sure.

Doug Whyte and I both love sharing the history of our hobby.  You can add Tim Boyd to that list too. There are a lot of good stories out there.

Best regards,

Scott Colmer

anyone who flouts their Floquil stash is okay in my book.

ps: anyone wanna buy a few bottles of "driftwood stain" hot off the line?

I know this isn't what you meant, but I bought this vintage early 90s Floquil airbrush last year. Probably made by Badger. I've never seen another one.
