Zippi Posted Wednesday at 11:48 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:48 AM That dash looks Super kewl and the engine looks right at home in the business end there Dennis. Nice work dude. 1
Dennis Lacy Posted Saturday at 05:02 PM Author Posted Saturday at 05:02 PM We’ve been having our annual humid/tropical week out here in Sunny SoCal but back on Tuesday afternoon I had a window that felt pretty good so I sprayed clear coat. Should polish and wax nicely in a few weeks. In the meantime there’s a chassis and interior to finish. 😎 1
FoMoCo66 Posted Saturday at 05:19 PM Posted Saturday at 05:19 PM Nice work on this. I accidentally came across this build on the Traditional Rod and Kustom in Scale forum, bit of a spoiler but oh well. 1

Some of us OG’s are trying hard to get the activity flowing again over there. It’s been nice lately thanks to this build off. 1
Zippi Posted yesterday at 11:52 AM Posted yesterday at 11:52 AM Boy that's looking pretty good there Dennis. 1
Dennis Lacy Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago (edited) More progress. Started by painting the exhaust pipes with a combination of a small brush and a toothpick with good ol’ Testors silver. While the silver paint was drying I assembled the interior except for the shifter (which I failed to prepare) and the window cranks because I have a better solution coming. Then, I assembled the chassis including the exhaust tips and rear bumper. The engine isn’t permanently installed but I couldn’t resist seeing how it looked sitting in place. After all of that I also couldn’t resist mocking the car up with the decorated and clear coated body. Edited 23 hours ago by Dennis Lacy 6
Calb56 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago The apparent "simplicity" is great. Sometimes talent makes everything look simple, easy. One of the cleanest builds I've seen in a long time. 1
