carsntrucks4you Posted July 28 Posted July 28 (edited) This car was the last one that Marcos Engineering Ltd. build in 2007 before the went out of business. The 2006 Marcos TSO GTC was powered by a 350 cui Chevrolet engine, had a 6 speed transmission. A rear diffuser, a racing suspension and racing brakes differ the GTC from the TSO GT. TSO GT or GT2 share the same front view therefor I also accept GT or GT2 as a correct answer The correct answer were sent in by: Ace-Garageguy matthijsgrit thatz4u Fabrux Congratulations Edited August 4 by carsntrucks4you

Earl Marischal Posted August 5 Posted August 5 My immediate thought was some kind of TVR. Didn’t get round to Marcos. 🤔 steve

Reminds me of those brutal Maserati and Ferrari sports-racers of the 1950s: Maybe so, but that Ferrari is nowhere as "brutal" as this one. The nose protrudes too far and it is too bulbous. But then I never liked the looks of the Mopar Superbirds with their tacked-on noses either.
Ace-Garageguy Posted Tuesday at 03:08 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:08 AM Much as I was a fan of Marcos cars way back when (they had plywood monocoque chassis, which made it a lot more realistic for a budding-but very inexperienced-car designer to think in terms of building his own sports car someday), I think this one looks like a cross-eyed Viper that needs braces on its fangs.
DonW Posted Tuesday at 10:07 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:07 AM Not as cross-eyed as this monstrosity from Morgan - they had to use VW Beetle headlights since BMW wouldn't let them use the Mini headlights Morgan wanted until the Series 3.
