V8tiger Posted July 30 Posted July 30 I bought this little 1/32 model about 25 years ago off of eBay...It wasn't expensive and received it in a little plastic bag with instructions but never built it. I think it's from the early or mid fifties. Possibly part of the Revell Pioneer series....but this is just a guess. BUT I'm finally building it. I has a two piece 32 body which I glued together and got rid of the seam off. My skills have improved a lot over 25 years so I just told myself it was time to build it and to do a good job...I was wondering if anyone here in ForumLand has anything to add to what I already think I know...just having a little fun... 4 1
Earl Marischal Posted July 30 Posted July 30 I have the same kit that I bought sometime in the last century. I’ve started it but currently it’s on hold. Will dig it out for pictures. steve
Chris V Posted July 30 Posted July 30 What you have is the Revell “Highway Pioneers” 1:32 Scale 1932 Ford Roadster. It is one of Revell’s earliest car models and dates back to 1954: 4 1
V8tiger Posted July 30 Author Posted July 30 I knew I could count on you guys to shine some light on this...Thanks! 👍
Mark Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Minecraft reissued that kit in the Eighties, in a set with (I think) three other cars. The gray plastic has me thinking you have one of the reissue kits.

styromaniac Posted Sunday at 01:07 PM Posted Sunday at 01:07 PM I picked up 2 or 3 of these little Revell Highway Pioneers kits off eBay when I decided to dabble in 1/32 scale subjects. The wheel/tire pieces looked better than the ones I could source through the generally available Aurora & Pyro kits at that scale. Came in handy on a couple of builds... 1

Ulf Posted Monday at 03:55 PM Posted Monday at 03:55 PM Simple or not, the idea, the feeling beats most of what has been molded after these. Actually, these are the facts, the correct answers to the question which cars are the coolest.
