Some like it bright, other's don't. As I mentioned, to me highly reflective 1:1 chrome surface does not scale to duller less-bright finish just because it is in smaller scale.
Chariots of Fire Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Hey, Peter. I bought some of the FF chrome and it is really nice. The great part about it is that it can be brushed on so that it floods the area whereas Molotow and other pens are very restricted in the surface area they can cover. It appears to be very durable. Bright is ok with me. Certain details just cry out for a nice shiny surface. See you at CP!
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I tested it on these 3d printed wheels. The pictures don't show the true shine. I used the bottle's brush for all 3. The one on the left has the clear coat or varnish applied. The one on the right has a smudge from where I touched it a couple of hours after it was painted. The clear did dull the shine a bit, but I think it looks OK for a hubcap. I'll try Alclad clear and see what that looks like. So far I'm happy with this stuff.
