Can-Con Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago First, a pic of the beginnings , , Used the cab from an MPC '78[ish] Chevy 4X4 annual with fresh chassis and box from a more current '84 [ish] GMC. Chassis has been "Z-ed" about 4 scale inches just behind the cab and the bed floor moved up. Spare tire removed and a couple crossmembers added. Rear suspension is 4th gen Vette with coil over front suspension both from the AMT street rod version '34 Ford coupe. Steering rack is scratch made with poseable wheels. Wheels and tires are 3-D printed. Exhaust is solder with mufflers and hanger scratch made. Engine is a printed GM supercharged, intercooled LSA. Interior has modified door panels printed steering wheel, window cranks and scratch made steering column with shift lever and tilt and signal stalks. Seat is from an AMT '57 Chrysler. Cab and bed have side trim added, door handles and drip rails shaved as well as resin bumpers with shaved bolt heads. Grille is modified to '73/'74 GMC style with custom designed and printed grille inserts added. Paint is Tamiya in a custom mixed "apple green" shade with racing white sides. Bed floor opens with scratch made struts. 2
