Silvercreeker Posted September 23 Author Posted September 23 Tires painted, chrome on and curing and gloss black base color is down for the color shift paint. Even with the dehydrator, I wait at least 72 hrs to start wet sanding. Tomorrow is motor wiring and carbs….all 4 of them! 4
Silvercreeker Posted Friday at 01:20 AM Author Posted Friday at 01:20 AM First coat of final color. MCW color shift enamel. Different for sure. 4
Cool Hand Posted Friday at 06:33 AM Posted Friday at 06:33 AM (edited) Great idea using the colour shift paint. I built a lot Tom Daniel kits back when I first started in the hobby, so I have really enjoyed this build thread a lot especially all the customizing you have done. Cant wait to see the end result when its all pieced together. Actually inspired me to buy the kit. Edited Friday at 06:35 AM by Cool Hand

Tom Daniel kits are so fun and bring back memories to the 70’s building them 2

Very cool That "Slant Eight" is definitely the engine that Chrysler SHOULD have made, It would have been a real game changer in some of those mid '60s compacts like the Valiants and Darts, even the Baracuda might have been a possibility😊 2
Silvercreeker Posted Saturday at 07:03 PM Author Posted Saturday at 07:03 PM Wiring done on motor, carbs installed and a bit of interior done this morning. The finish line is a bit closer. 6
