Cool Hand Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Basically a box stock build, with a few minor changes. I 3D printed the wheels, file from Z Force Model Worx and tyre file from Morries Kustoms. And painted with Alclad polished Aluminum. Opened the grill and installed photo etched mesh from KA models Steering wheels is from a DDA Holden HQ GTS Monaro kit I 3D printed the custom triple inlet manifold which was a special one of design from Slowys Models. I also 3D printed the triple Weber carburetors and air filters, files from Scale Auto Model Works which were re scaled to fit the engine bay. The 6 cylinder distributor was sourced from Iceman Collections BMF applied to window trim and tail light trim Side shark gill vents were opened with a .4mm drill and Crazy Modeler photo etch saw blade. All other chrome work is SMS paints Hyper Chrome Dark Tone. 16

STU111 Posted August 31 Posted August 31 G’day Luke, beautiful looking Torana. Superb in every aspect, however I really love that engine bay, having owned a couple of early Holdens with triple Weber carbs back in the day, it really strikes a chord with me. Top stuff. 👍🏻 1
bondo bill Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Sharp build- the cars design reminds me of Firebird front and Maverick rear 1

XYHARRY Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago G'day Luke, another great build there mate. That straight six brings back some great memories for me as a friend of mine had a four door LJ with that set-up and bored out within millimetres of the water jacket. Scariest ride ever, 150 mph on the Hume Hwy Lansvale at 2 in the morning. 1
