All I can see is that there is more of a gentle curve at the top of the quarter window.

It is certainly a subtle thing and I agree that it won't make a difference to most people. I have no issue with anyone building it straight out of the box. Part of my motivation in doing it was to see if I could pull it off.

I asked earlier in this thread if someone could define the difference, but all I heard was crickets…

I guess if I have to ask and I don’t get a bunch of answers, it must be so subtle that most people don’t notice it… so I’m not going to let it affect my decision to get one.  Sounds like it should be just fine, but I’m still hoping for a flat hood…

The difference between OEM and both models or between both models?

My statement was that there is no (noticeable) difference in shape between the amt anual and the Moebius kit. So both differ from the OEM,which is IIRC, that the drip rail goes down to soon, should be aft the imaginary B-pillar. 

Is it a biggie? You decide, I just wanted to say that sometimes those anuals are not the gold standard, no more no less.

When I bought my Mobieus 65 Comet Cyclone,  I took the body out and looked it over and compared it to my original AMT 64 Comet Caliente. Since I noticed there were some differences,  I decided to look at photos of 65 Comets on the internet. I decided that the AMT roof was more true to the car, but the Mobieus roof was not too far off. I did a little "bodywork on the sail panels, and the rear part of the roof, and it was fine. Also I adjusted the stance to my liking 

I'm going to be a customer for the Mobieus 64 Cyclone, as I will make adjustments where necessary.

I'm pickkkkyyy AF, will let it pass and look forward to cracking the seal to get a better look!

Some kits - it never goes away. AMT '65 Bonneville really stands out. Moby Effies... Most of the builds are so good, I never really notice it. 

There are a lot of builds possible with the Comet Cyclone/Caliente, my eyes are jumping around so much, it would be hard to pick it out.  I do like the conversion, but I'm one of the modelers who have trouble being the 'human pantograph' getting both sides the same. I'll get all hyped up on the project and nail the first side... then get sloppy on the second. Or, first side will be uhhhhhh so close, the I'll sort the problem and second will be perfect but now hate the first.
