Kah puts Posted yesterday at 01:17 AM Posted yesterday at 01:17 AM Well now, it takes a cool imagination to pull this and make it look good, congratulations 👍
ybsluos Posted yesterday at 04:45 AM Posted yesterday at 04:45 AM Glen, they both look fantastic! I’ve seen chopped Henry J s done as drag or pro Street cars and they look nice even with the short wheelbase when done as a drag car, However I never thought one could make a nice lead sled because of the short proportions. However, you cracked the code by lengthening it. Excellent work! -Mark
ybsluos Posted yesterday at 04:51 AM Posted yesterday at 04:51 AM R&R Vacuum Craft cast a Manhattan many years back. I wish I had one because if I did, I would send it your way in the hopes that you would do something like this with it. There have been several 1:1 Manhattan sleds done and I personally love them. Your Henry J gives me the same vibe though. I love all your models. You are great with styrene and resin. 1
Zippi Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago That's one kewl looking 51 Henry J Glen. I'm liking it.
espo Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Your body work completely changes the appearance of the Henry J.
damodelguy phx az Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago mark, i have seen a few manhattans customs. they have a different look stock with the high roof. but the customs have that roof flattened out and that lowered seems to make it look longer also. ya manhattan bodies are a lot harder to obtain. thanx guys
meechum68 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Such a fantastic piece of work!! Who knew how nice the cadillac fins would look on the 51 J!
