Wow. Resin kits apparently went WAY up?

Since he knocked $450 off of it, I was thinking of grabbing it. 
Looking at the sellers other things, the resin kits they have, aren’t too ridiculously priced. I wonder why this one is?

But it says "obsolete and rare" right there in the listing. C'mon man. That makes it worth WAY more.

I mean, what's to say one of our fine Resin folks don't just make a few of these, and show the guy, that they aren't that rare?

The result of free listing and relisting, tolerated by eBay because they inflate the number of listings.  When I viewed it, it was shown as being in two shopping carts.  Wouldn't that mean that a few minutes later, it would be unavailable due to it having been sold?

That said, items from that caster don't often turn up.  There are two separate stories concerning him; repeating either of them at this point really doesn't accomplish anything.

To me the words rare and obsolete mean nothing in the resin business. Any good caster could take a "rare" piece and re-pop it and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

3d printing has made this obsolete. This is just 1 example of whats available. https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/112729/chevrolet-impala-1958. I'm sure there is more on cults.

Years ago, I was under the belly of one of our aircraft. I was removing the first of two huge antennae installed to jam radar.

Well, it appears that it is in two carts right now. It doesn’t mean one will actually buy it though. But some people do have more money than brains.

What does that look like printed though? Is it a full kit in multiple parts? The images on that page appear to be renders.

Are these files even designed for 3d printing?

 

I think you're right though. 3d printing is definitely impacting some of these resin vendors. Why would I order someone else's kit, when I can print up my own?

And some of these kits are of excellent quality.
