espo Posted November 23 Posted November 23 Realistic looking patina paint finish and trim. Like the stance and the wheel & tire combo. 1
bisc63 Posted November 24 Posted November 24 What's not to love?! Very realistic, except I'm in Kentucky, so I'd expect a lot more lower body rust! Seriously, though, why aren't you happy with it? I've got a couple of these on the bench slowly coming together: it's a nice kit. Hope I can match your quality! 1
XYHARRY Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Great weathering on your wagon. Wheel size and stance are perfect for this build. Well done Mark. P.S. Your garage scene is impressive too. 1
STU111 Posted November 29 Posted November 29 That’s cool! I’m planning a couple of builds with wear and patina, l hope they end up as nicely weathered as this one. Nice work. 👍🏻 1

Thanks, the kit is fine I'm just not happy with my weathering. 1 hour ago, SpeedAndViolence said: What's wrong with it? My weathering just looks painted on to me, not my best work at all. 1
SpeedAndViolence Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Bah.. You're being your own worst critic. Knock it off. I'm saying this...because I need to stop being my own worst critic. The pursuit of perfection, hinders progress. 1

I really like this. Kimmo 1

dphipps Posted yesterday at 05:14 PM Posted yesterday at 05:14 PM I think it looks great. Specifically the worn through paint. I've had/have old cars like that and it looks bang on to me. Also years ago a friend bought a '64 Impala that had a rust spot on the hood from sitting under a tree and it looked much like yours. There's one version that comes with a nice blown hemi and little trailer and a bunch of other goodies, including a squirrel. I recommend it 1
