Revell 1958 Impala

After being in storage for 15 years, finally seeing the light of day again. This is the Revell 1958 Impala kit. Painted with Tamiya Coral Blue straight from the spray can and then clear coated. Handpainted factory tricolor interior. Always loved the way this one turned out. Glad to have it back out of storage.

Beautiful looking Impala and the paint color says it's 1958. Notice you have a working continental kit, that must have been fun getting that to work. The interior looks very realistic.

Looks great...The BMF work is excellent... I'm working on the AMT version of this right now. I think I'll go with white exterior and red interior and maybe a red roof. I like the two tones on the 50' cars.

Perfect color, great foil work!  The first Impala.  Dad had one in '63, loved that car.

Thanks for the comments. Alot of the side trim was seperate from the body and on the chrome tree. Really loved the way this one turned out.

Excellent build of a beautiful car. That coral blue is a great choice for the era and I'll keep that in mind for my future builds.
