I'm not sure if this is my first post or not but I've been a member for a while. I started this about three months ago from the old reissue of the Lincoln Futura kit by Revell. Here's an early bodywork shot that'll give you an idea of some of the changes I made. What you can't see in the pictures at the bottom is the narrowed and shortened (in the rear end of the frame only) Chezoom frame that I fitted into the cut out floor of the Futura. I thought the hood area was too low so I built it up with sheet styrene, and added a modified scoop out of an AMT 49 Ford kit. The windshield is from an AMT mid 60's Corvette, and I had to build a new cowl area to fit it in.

This view is the rear deck are without much modification that I'm just showing to compare to the finished shot.

And an early side view....................

I finished it a few days ago, and here's a finished side shot.

Gee, i wonder if McNamara thought to do any of those neat things you did to the Futura . Kinda makes ya wonder as Henery was always sniffin his hiney! Then too what did he bring to the table , the 58 T- Bird , the Edsel and of course the Falcon , and then he tried to run the Army from the Pentagon ! Ed Shaver

Very nice work....I love the color and the wheel opening treatment...very cool...I just wonder how the Chezoom roof would look on that car? Regardless, you did a very nice job customizing an icon with a suttle yet effective set of modifications. It beats the Batmobile by a mile...in my opinion.
