Wow! Nice job on a beautiful car. I think I had that kit back in the 1960's too, and IIRC I saw the real car at the New York World's Fair in about 1965. I remember also seeing the Chrysler Turbine Car there. I have snapshots buried in a box somewhere. I'll post one if I can find it.

Yeesh Bill, It's about TIME!!!! Man that thing looks GREAT! It's gotta be one of the most difficult kits to build! I got one an I've never even opened it! I remember I tried to build it in the 60's and I didn't have ANY problems with the doors, I just GLUED them bad boys SHUT!!! It came out just BEAUTIFUL! The Color, wheels and stance are PERFECT!!! :D;)

How does Bill do it? Like Robert Johnson, did he sell his soul at the crossroads to become a master modeler? Beautiful stuff, Bill. However, now I'm a bit intimidated to drag the one out of my stash and start on it (like I don't already have enough projects cluttering up my workspace.).

Thanks for all the nice words folks...............I really appreciate it!

very nice and clean Bill! I don't remember seeing another one that looked nicer in my whole life. I think the wheels really sit nicely against that paint too! What's next? How about an old school Kustom? hehe

Kustom eh? Would you settle for a nearly box stock build of a '49 Merc?
