Dragline Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 THAT is purty!! This kit is one I overlooked for some reason. I have to rectify that. Well chosen colors and aftermarket goodies. Bob F
Lownslow Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 (edited) You got jokes! Lol!! I'm tryin' to clear all of these old projects out of the way so I canget down to business with a few extended projects I want to see done in '10. lol, i fixed that problem easy i just threw them in a garbage can. cleared 70% of the shelf for new potential garbage can hall of fame inductees. Lownslow Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Just love it Toni !! Mine will probably be quite similar whenever I get around to it. LOL Lownslow ,, You really tossed a bunch in the garbage can? You'r gonna regret that in the future. You never know what you'll need for a future project and you may just have thrown it out and won't be able to find another one like it. Next time just toss them in a box and save them ,,,, That's how "parts boxes" are made. yup i did . my building mentality changed over the last few months i felt held back once they were gone i went into a building frenzy.
58 Impala Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Nice build. I like that kit, I wish it was full detail with a nice 425 nailhead.
Rob Hall Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Nice build. I like that kit, I wish it was full detail with a nice 425 nailhead. A '70 would have the 455, though. Interesting thing, the '69 kit is full detail w/ a 430 (or 455? not sure when they upsized). Both the '69 and '70 are nice kits. Sharp build here..
58 Impala Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 (edited) You're right 455 , I was thinking of the earlier Buicks like the earlier Wildcats and the Electra 225. Edited October 14, 2009 by 58 Impala

Both the '69 and '70 are nice kits. Sharp build here.. The 430 would have been in 1969. The 455 didn't come out until 1970. Nice build. I have one of those kits, too, and will be building it totally stock (black interior- the only way the buckets came from the factory,) and regular wheels. Charlie Larkin
kerc Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 You owe me a new keyboard. This one is covered in drool...
Peter Lombardo Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Toni, very nice......so very clean. Red is perfect for this car. The bare metal foil looks exactly right. Nothing is overstated but it comes through loud and clear.
Harry P. Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I never realized what a good looking car a 1970 Wildcat was! Especially the side view. Nice job, man. The foil trim really does the trick on this one!
Zoom Zoom Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Nice work I expect to see it in person next month
