Tom Geiger Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I'm more the strong silent type Once I get building, if I had music on in the background I wouldn't even hear it. I zone out completely into concentration on my task! Occasionally I'll put TV on in the background, only to look up and find that the show I had tuned in was long over.
aurfalien Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Hi, I've found that the Chillout Lounge podcasts works well for me. In particular, the Immaculate and Rise mixes. Really cool DJ from across the pond.
Sixx Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Sometimes silence, sometimes music... hard rock. & metal, right now I'm digging AC/DC's new CD & a new release from Judas Priest!!!! Both pretty dang cool !!!!!!!!!
FordRodnKustom Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I listen to my SIRIUS radio mostly, 60's, Classic Vinyl and Underground Garage. I have hundreds of CDs but I prefer the spontaneity of radio. I always have the TV on too but muted most of the time. My bench "media center".
Shelby 427 1965 Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 In a lot of my build threads I normally post what music I was listening to, to get me into the zone. Usually, I'll blast music from my two favourite artists - Queens of the Stone Age and Sophie Ellis-Bextor (Either her new album, Wanderlust, or her first one, Read My Lips..), but with over 5,500 songs on my iPod, I'm never short of something to listen to
lordairgtar Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 It's summer. Test cricket makes the perfect soundtrack. I'm just learning to watch cricket. I do not understand it yet.
lordairgtar Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Love Clairy Browne & The Bangin' Rackettes. She's from Australia and I met here in Chicago once. Hot lady. Great music.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I don't always have music on, but usually it's a big mix.... 60s stuff, classic country (the only stuff I can stand), QUOTSA, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Hendrix sometimes, The Who, RHCP, No Doubt (obviously), Neil Young, even Luciano Pavarotti sometimes
W-409 Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I almost always listen to music while modeling. And only music that comes out from my record player is Rock 'n Roll or Rockabilly music. Here are a couple of my favorites: The Go Getters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnQa0ybtCTY Stray Cats: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-efr9pJFbY Pole Cats: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihXeWEXCgJk And of course others for example... Eddie Cochran Gene Vincent Wanda Jackson Blue Cats T-Bird Gang Riot Rockers Crazy Cavan
Deathgoblin Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Whatever's in the CD player at the time. Typically: Dream Theater Kiss Lordi (not to be confused with Lorde) BulletBoys Skid Row/Sebastian Bach Sabaton WASP Savatage/TSO

slusher Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I listen to rock, easy listening, and sometimes classic country. Can't do the dead silence. Sometimes I turn the television just to listen to it....
