Salvo Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Ok, here is a 1970 Camaro that I threw together... I was kinda strung out after spending so many hours on the first two and I just wanted to get something up on the shelf. I really didn't add much detail to this one... It is just a version of the "real thing" that I would love to have sitting in the garage... I built these three models a number of months back and now that we are settled into our new house I am setting up my "mancave" and will get back into the builds here in short order. I have to juggle my time between this hobby and my other of restoring motorcycles... I'm working on a '85 Honda VF1000R right now... Here's the Camaro... Enjoy!
kyledr330 Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Love it!, Nice job with the foil around the windows.
vizio93 Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Sweet build man !!! I got one of these I'm gettin' ready to build. Any fit issues ?
LVZ2881 Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 that looks good, it's got a nice late 70's street brawler vibe to it...
Reeves Racing Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Very clean. The paint is flawless. I'm not diggin' the tires though. The fronts especially...
MADmodelDOCTOR Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I'll bet there was more than one exactly like this on the street somewhere in the early 70's...... later,
Salvo Posted November 24, 2009 Author Posted November 24, 2009 Thanks for the compliments guys! Hey Vizio, I don't remember any specific fit issues, maybe just check the depth of fit on the rear spoiler, I think I should have checked mine a little closer... I basically just threw this one together because I was freshly tired from the Fairlane and the SuperBee builds and wanted to keep going but didn't want to get "burnout" right after 3 models just getting back into the hobby....

Oh ok man i'll check it when I start mine. Thanx . I know what ya mean by getting "burnout". Sometimes it takes a quick build like this to just get it out of the way.
berr13 Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Very nice...cool color. I've got a stack of the Z28s that I got at Hobby Lobby on sale--hope mine turn out as sharp as yours!
oldscool Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Nice! you got the 70s look just about right. Maybe needs just a little smaller front tire IMHO. oldscool
