Chuck Most Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I think the red thing is the latest Government Motors concept vehicle, the PT (phallic tumor) Croozer. Look for it in showrooms in late 2015.... IF there's still a GM at that date!
Harold Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I bet the rear wing on the Charger makes it go really fast! Actually, all the paste- on trinkets and geegaws are what gives it its speed. Finally, a car for the man who has evrything- except taste and common sense .
Harold Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 (edited) few things goofier than curb feelers i still crack up everytime i see "bra's" for cars and trucks Dave Here in Flint the thing is to slap on those idiotic Buick portholes and add as much chrome garbage as possible- wheel lip moldings, door- edge guards, gas cap door covers, door handles ad nauseum. Apparently, people here are fascinated by bright, shiny objects. I look at this nonsense and think, "you know, chrome doesn't class the joint up..." . Edited April 6, 2010 by Harold
Modelmartin Posted April 6, 2010 Author Posted April 6, 2010 What, no curb feelers??? I found a pair of curb feelers at a liquidation place for a buck back in the mid '80s. I put them on my SAAB 95 wagon. Besides being tres stylish they were a lot of fun on the road. I would see how close I could get to hazard warning signs When I finally got close enough one night the thing went "Ka-twing!" Laughed my @ss off all the way home!
lordairgtar Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Eric, you should be banned for posting those...uh...zaftig beauties. One thing I see here is every HHR has Buick portholes on them. I promise never, ever, never to put them on my HHR panel.

cobraman Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 There are some Pep Boys specials there for sure. I think they believe the "if some is good than more are better " plan. I would be to embarresed to drive any of those "POS".
Joe Handley Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 few things goofier than curb feelers i still crack up everytime i see "bra's" for cars and trucks Dave I snagged the Mopar Accessory book for the 200's when I went too look at them a few weeks back prior to buying mine and you can still buy a Mopar Parts Bra for the car! They also offer an "Ambiant Light Kit", which are LED's that go up behind the dash and and light up the footwells in any of 8 user chosen colors....... I do like the door sill guards with the Chrysler logo stamped into them as well as molded cargo tray though! Here in Flint the thing is to slap on those idiotic Buick portholes and add as much chrome garbage as possible- wheel lip moldings, door- edge guards, gas cap door covers, door handles ad nauseum. Apparently, people here are fascinated by bright, shiny objects. I look at this nonsense and think, "you know, chrome doesn't class the joint up..." . I think that fad has finally died around here, those aren't as common as the used to be. Did nearly fall over the first time I saw one of thoee Buick crossovers (I think it was the Azztek sibling one) that not only had the portholes, but had them in the right place and may have even had the right count (3 per side......hopefully it had a 6 in it) too!

Laughed my @ss off all the way home! Back in the late 90's when I had my '59 Dodge, I put curb feelers on both sides of the front bumper, along with the Dummy Spots, Spinner hubcaps, Lake Pipes, etc... One day on the way to work I was driving across the Captree Bridge on Long Island and was following a very slow moving garbage truck. It was a 2 lane bridge and the truck was in the right lane but it was a narrow lane and the truck was kind of riding the dotted yellow line separating the 2 lanes. The bridge was about a half mile long, lined with concrete Jersey barriers on each side. I was tired of following this truck which was only moving at about 30 mph so I pulled into the left lane to pass the truck. My Dodge was 6 1/2 feet wide and as I said, the truck was kind of edging into the left lane. I gunned the pedal to pass the truck and as I passed it, I heard the curb feeler on the drivers side scraping the Jersey barrier... That was a very narrow lane....!!!!!!
Rob Hall Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 I wonder what compels some people to cover their cars in gaudy aftermarket junk.
Danno Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 I caught this on the New York Times website. Please comment. It looks like a Porsche Boxster. Ahhhh, the new Government Motors Cellulite XLT! Padded faux convertible top with gold trim and gold landau arms is optional.
