eviltwincustoms Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Dave, I think you made the right decision to redo the tin work, because it looks 100x's better now... Great Job! Very cool on the ducts, I saw some of those or some like them on TDR, was wondering how they worked.
stump Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Ahh....I had wondered what, or where the NACA ducts were headed.....Had seen them on Shapeways site. Looks EXCELLENT Dave. Great work man.
W-409 Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Well, this looks cool! I like seeing Top Methanol (or Alcohol) Dragster being built too, because if I can see modern Dragsters, they are almost always Top Fuel. Nice job with those body panels too, and detailing is incredible. Thanks for sharing this build.
Mooneyzs Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Dave.... glad to see ou back on this one. it is looking killer. nice paint work. decals are looking grear as well..keep up the awesome job on this build.
COOLBERG Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 it's been a while since i've worked on this. after i recieved the new nose from TDR i decided i didn't like the body so, i made a new one. it's a little higher body than the first. more like a fuel car and it's properly clearance to the ground. old body. new body. i also had tim at TDR make up some NACA ducts for the body. installed. hope you enjoy! JUST AMAZIN......................

vintagedragfan Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 well, again i'm back to the dragster. i really need to finish this car. i made a pair of deist parachute packs. i tried to make them look like the aluminized material. also the chute chords to the rear. earlier i made a co2 tank. now it needed some billet brackets to hold it. there is no way to describe what you do Dave except PURE TALENT! love to look at your work! it is truely inspiring to us wanna be's, lovet to see it in person some day and actually meet the man! did you have to anneal the body panels? if you will excuse me now I have to go start stomping on my Charger
