First: Police cars I have driven in my career.

Second: Police cars based on time period. 40's 50's 60's

Third: ANY hotrod/ratrod/dry lake racer.

Here is what I tell anyone when this subject comes up (and it does!)... I am a CAR SLUT! True that! I love them all!

Well... maybe all, except donks.

Life... is a span of time waiting for the next model to be built!

I am still waiting to build a:

lowrider

big rig

50's custom

60's custom

rat rod

weathered beater

funny car

gasser

rail

vintage Nascar

model T

...and so much more! There is so many styles of models to tap in to. Sadly, I am getting slower at it. I also want to start building models of cars (& trucks) I have owned.

What I like to build:

mini trucks

full size trucks

muscle cars(new and old)

customs

junkers

factory stock

lowriders(sometimes)

It ussally depends on what I want to do to the kit and my ideas I have been thinking about for it.

Um, what's this factory stock you speak of?

B)

Factory Stock is the raw materials we make OUR stuff from! ... like hot rods, customs, junkers, muscle .. etc. etc. ANYTHING but what we started with! :D

Well, cause my builds focus on Resturants , service stations and an occasional older house , I focus on Replicia Stock . Then I might do an occasional wrecker as I am now , followed by a rarely done streetrod . Ed Shaver

most of the kits i build are late 60s to mid 70s muscle cars, there is just something about the lines of those cars you cant find anywhere else

most of them come out looking like a street machine i guess but it really depends, sometimes i build a car based on a paintscheme i have in my head like this nascar converted to a lowrider

IMG00340-20100327-2145.jpg

i had the vision for the hood and it only seemed fitting to be on a lowrider so thats how that car came to be

this hemi cuda on the other hand was build around an engine

i had the log mani with the 8 seperate carbs left over from a 396 desoto firedome hemi and i build the entire car around it...so i picked a body i thought it would work in, added rims tires and a wing i could imagine to go with the engine and went from there

IMG00090-20100104-2053.jpg

and sometimes its my big mouth that gets my in trouble like this 65 vw beetle converted into a front engine (GTI 1.6L) rear wheel drive pickup truck i jokingly said to enter into a truck buildoff where the rules stated it had to be a post 1970 stock bedded pickup truck with at least a V8 which i was then called upon to build

(should really finish this some day)

IMG00013-20091122-1733.jpg

but as a general rule, i like them like this: street cars running from mild to wild and from 16 year old kid working on his first car to all out pinks racer B)

(this sardine challenger was mainly build based on the inspiration i got from seeing a camaro on here with a gorgeous lace job)

IMG00093-20090808-2203.jpg

this challenger was build based on a diecast my father in law has, the idea was "what would the car look like that inspired the concept challenger as it was build in this diecast?"

I start just about everything but I don't finish much of anything. B)

I guess I'm just a collector of partially built kits.

My favorite is big rigs, but I also build factory stocks, an occasional custom, and dirt track stock cars.

seem a great looking big rig pull up at my job today, tons of custom stuff on it, lime green everything pete'

B) Old built ups rule!!!!!!!!!! Building straight from the box is fun but there is just something about reviving something that someone else built years ago and tossed away as being hopeless! Factory stock is my preferred style of build.
