Harry P. Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 The Alclad is fantastic! But how do you avoid marring the surface while you build? It looks flawless... do you wear gloves while you work?
Joe Handley Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 (edited) Just WOW, this is a great looking build! This is awesome! Great detail and execution of the original concept artwork (which is also very cool itself). I love all the scratch built parts, they really add life to the build. Like the Beach Boys sang..."If she had a set of wings man you know she could fly" I'll be honest, first thing that came to my mind when I started counting plug wires was the original, as written Hot Rod Lincoln and the line "It's got 12 cylinders and uses them all" Edited October 10, 2010 by Joe Handley

David G. Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Each time I check in on this build, I'm more stunned and amazed than the last. A truely masterful work. One question. Where did the wheels come from. I've been looking for a set of smoothies for a project and these are just about what I had in mind. Thanks, David G.

Thank`s for the kind words David.....the wheels are from the Monogram lincoln that I used for this build.......I just sanded down the lettering on the hub caps.......and used the tires from a 49 merc.........I had to open up the centers of tires for the wheels to fit........thank`s
