slapshot Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 (edited) Boy I'm starting to pump these babies out like a puppy mill. I was in Michael's the other day & bought a metal stencil brass I think. I was originally going to put gold strips down the middle until the idea came to me about the feet. The AMT kit was great, everything fit great. I think that I will buy another one of these for my secret stash. All in all I had a great time building this one. Edited October 7, 2010 by slapshot

Railfreak78 Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Nice way to give it a modern custom look. Very nice build.
moparmagiclives Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Just got one off ebay, cant wait to build it now. Great job and great paint
codie27 Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Very nice work. The paint looks like you take a straw to it and drink it off.
Chuck Most Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Great job on a not-so-great kit. Who'd have thought the old Flipper could ever look this good?
crazyjim Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 That Effie looks just great. I love the color and the graphics.
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Very cool! I'm feelin' the feet. Wait. What? Nice work!
Space Cowboy Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 An outstanding paint job and a well detailed Flip Nose...

ewaskew Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Very good build. Where did you get the tire set from?
Modlbldr Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 That HAS to be the best job I've ever seen done on that kit. The paint is so slick and I like those graphics. Later-
VW Dave Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I'm admittedly not the biggest fan of oversize wheels, but the whole model is gorgeous! I'm glad to see another builder who lurks in the non-model aisles of Michael's stores.
RodneyBad Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 That HAS to be the best job I've ever seen done on that kit. The paint is so slick and I like those graphics. Later- Ditto on that comment.. That looks Really Great. Paint job looks Excellent Super job..
