ewaskew Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 (edited) This is my CBP truck. It's something I've thought about for sometime now. The rearend clip will have the Mustang bumper with the Mustang lights sunk in and the rest will be scratch built around it.There's still a lot to do to make it all blend in ,but it will work out. Not sure about color or tire's right now. Edited October 17, 2010 by ewaskew
Modlbldr Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Well, it may be in the wrong section but I like it. How did you ever come up with a combo like that? I can't wait to see more. Later-
John Teresi Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Earl......I think it looks great so far.......I think it is going to be cool.
Railfreak78 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Sorry forgot where I was at. This was suspose to be on the underglass area. Can't be underglass if it's not done Anyway I'm looking forward to how this comes out.
Mr. Show Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 (edited) It looks so happy. Should be an interesting build. Edited October 10, 2010 by Mr. Show

Joe Handley Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 That is going to be wild.....................
ewaskew Posted October 10, 2010 Author Posted October 10, 2010 Yes it do's look like its happy. I'll put up some more photos when I get it straighten out,a lot of changes going on right now. Modlbldr The idea came up after I took a 41 Chevy and built it with 69Camaro look in the front & back. However it's been knocked around and needs to be redone but the photos are the orignal fresh look. I thought since that turned out good why not a mustang. Thanks for all the replys. Earl
davyou5 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 That is a wild concept there . Great Job so far.
oldscool Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Pretty cool idea. That Mustang clip blends in really well. oldscool
cobra98 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Cool concept, looking good so far,the chevy is very nice also
ewaskew Posted October 17, 2010 Author Posted October 17, 2010 Got the bed done. The mustang bumper did'nt look the way I wanted it to,so I cut the top off fliped it upside down, then blended every thing in.It has a full tub so that I can get the height low for a car show stance. Thanks for looking God Bless Earl
Play4Keeps Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 WOW that is a beast, the mustang front and rear fit flawlessly I love it
Chuck Most Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Kind of the opposite of what I had in mind (grafting a '53 nose to a '97 F-150 Supercab), but still pretty cool. Are you going to run the blown Mod motor, too?
ewaskew Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 Thanks again for the comments. Chuck that idea you got may work out pretty good. This one will not have the blower on it but the rest of the eng will be used. I have another 53 that is custom and I'll use it on that one.
RodneyBad Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 I'm surprise that it actually looks better than I thought it could. Great imagination. Nice work so far, can't wait to see it finished.
MoparWoman Jamie Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Man, those body lines almost fit to on the front, I like where your headed with this project.
Dr. Cranky Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 This one should be very interesting. Keep it going.
