Dr. Cranky
Got all the parts painted yesterday and they dried overnight. I also started the chipping--which is slow, slow, slow tedious work--on the wheels. And the gas tank . . . the next bit of fun is to chip the rest of the vehicle and then begin the weathering process . . .
Dr. Cranky
The chipping is slow and fun AND the results are pretty good. Here's a close up of one of the wheels.

Dr. Cranky
Thank you . . . I just finally finished spraying all the paint, not it's time to do the chipping. Oh and that's a lot of chipping . . . I am going to time myself to see just how many hours it takes to chip an entire junker . . . stay tuned in . . . Harry P.
Now load up the deck with a big ol' turkey deep fryer held to tiedown rings on the deck(with plenty of fat splatter all over the deck) and a couple of cases of beer, build yourself a few folding patio chairs, and you got yourself a diorama! Have turkey, will travel! Just in time for Thanksgiving!
