Another 55 F100

Well guys, I have been working on this one for about a week, tweaking this, shaving that, and this is where I am at.

I shaved the hood, getting rid of the rib going down the center, got rid of the front emblem too.

Hinged the hood, used the last of my brass rods though

Lowered the front and rear suspension.

Let me know what you guys think.

Clay, where'd ya get the suspension? Is that the suspension that comes with that kit? It looks good so far.

OK need some help with this, ordered some paint. Its between Nassau(?) Blue and Sublime Green.

Here are a few examples of each color.

I like the way you hinged the hood forward, Clay. I have a '56 Effie on the wrokbench and I need to try a hinge like yours.

Go with the Nassau Blue...Fords look better in blue

I am still debating. Not sure yet. I will have to see what it looks like on the wheels and tires I have picked out.

I see that the bed or cab is crooked, I will have to find out why that is tomorrow.

You are really cranking them out Clay, this one looks great! I would think you would have the models packed up for the move North by now but am glad that you haven't !

I have all but 3 put away right now, and in between each of them I am cleaning the garage.

Little update, Finished this for the truck

Are you going to finish the inside of the trailer and make a diorama thing out of it?

There's a good post on here somewhere (I don't search so good) about making a hitch receiver for the truck if you don't have one already.

I DO like that blue, but the paint shop needs to get that trailer cleaned up if they want repeat business on these customs!
