juergen Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 Hello my friends !!! After some time of reflection I am now an idea for the diorama. I have already started the design of road and sidewalk. Were used for drywall and the structure carved in it. (is this english ok ???? ;-))) ) greets juergen
David G. Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 As if the excellent work on the truck wasn't enough... I can't wait to see how your diorama comes out! Also, your English is fine. Much better than my Deutsche, and better than some native English speakers I know. Regards, David G.
juergen Posted December 8, 2010 Author Posted December 8, 2010 Hello ! After painting the road and the sidewalk i do the brickwall. I used the same technic as the road and carved the bricks. greets juergen

BigBlockLyle Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Juergen, might I say that this build is totally awesome. Old Jack Daniels himself would be proud to have that truck in his delivery fleet. Your diorama is looking great. Love the idea of the drywall, I never wouldve thought of it. May I offer a small suggestion for the drive from the road to the door across the sidewalk?

juergen Posted December 15, 2010 Author Posted December 15, 2010 Hello ! my next step for the dio are the roof. i do the thin sheet metal from a metal box. i still need to lower the roof slightly greets juergen
george 53 Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Juergen, how did you corregate the roofing??? THAT is TOO COOL, Daddy-O! So far so good,Juerg, it's lookin GREAT!!!
BigBlockLyle Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 My suggestion is that you slope the driveway across the sidewalk all the way up to the door. Other than that, it looks great.
juergen Posted December 16, 2010 Author Posted December 16, 2010 Hi Guys ! @george: the roof is to steep.i cut the wooden beams a little bit more. @bigblocklyle: yes you are right the stones from the sidewalk to the street is alsoa little to short and to steep. i made the first time us - sidewalks you know? ;-) your sidewalks in austria are very different to yours. greets juergen
W-409 Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 That diorama is coming along very nice! And finished pickup looks very good too. Now just can't wait to see that finished diorama with that Pickup, your building skills are very great. Nice work with it, can't say more.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 Oh that roof is going to make the whole thing pop. Very nice.
juergen Posted December 18, 2010 Author Posted December 18, 2010 Hello my friend ! Here i can show you the next pics from the built. I made the hinges moveable about styrene and does a little more weathering on the doors. Tumbler75 Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 This dio and truck touch a soft spot in me as I live in Tennessee and at one time lived but 45 minutes from the Jack Daniel's Distillary and Museum. Great li'l place to visit if you ever get this way. Juergen this dio is so awesome and I'm glad to see someone with your talents execute it. Great job! I can't wait to see more.
DRG Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 As I have went through this entire posting I must admit that I am in awe of your craftsmanship. Seeing build like this make me want to just quit and find some other hobby. At my age I will never be able to accomplish a build as fantastic as this one, either the truck or the diorama. Fantastic work.
