Chuck Most Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Come to think of it- I'd really like a Jag XKR kit!
peter31a Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I hate to break it to you guys but there is a Prius kit out there by Fujimi I believe...
Chuck Most Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I hate to break it to you guys but there is a Prius kit out there by Fujimi I believe... Hey... you could build the Prius they raced at Bonneville a few years back! One area where an 'allegedly' sticky throttle is a GOOD thing!
ian ashton Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I'd like to see some more common cool cars and trucks like the Trailblazer SS, 4 door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, Cadillac CTS-V, and BMW M6 convertible. I agree with all of these
Guest Sickfish Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 They gotta kit this little beauty.... Fiat Abarth 500 Hamann H & R Tuned version... & then I'd like to have a Chrysler tuned Edition.. With the 6.1L HEMI under the bonnet ... Now that would be a Beast!!! Guys while I appreciate the responses, it seem's that there's more U.S domestic cars being talked about & wished for, rather than what I originally asked for, which was mainly what International cars would you like to see kitted? So while I appreciate the enthusiasim most of you guys are showing, can we try to keep the flavour InternationalI ask this mainly because there's a bigger chance that U.S domestic product would be kitted before International product & because there's already been hundreds of threads pertaining to " what car ( any/US ) would you like to see kitted? " Cheers Cliffo & thanks again guys
Poncho-Power Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 how about any one of these bad boys! for a couple reasons but we wont go into that! even being from canada the first time i saw these on the net i fell in love with them Holden and Vauxhall's !!!!!
Tony T Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 (edited) First thing that came to mind, seeing as the original poster was from Australia...V8 Supercars!! It's what NASCAR should be! I miss seeing the races on SPEED channel, which I don't get anymore. Track and street versions of the Ford Falcons and Holden Commodores. That would be cool! I like the idea of a Bentley Continental GT. Gorgeous car. Edited November 27, 2010 by Tony T
Guest Sickfish Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 (edited) How about these bad boys... Holden Maloo R8 Ute Ford Falcon FPV XR8 Pursuit Ute or the Sedan version... Edited November 27, 2010 by Sickfish
Guest Sickfish Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 You can get all of these Aussie cars in diecast from 1:64 through to 1:18 scale, all I want to know is why the hell can't we get them in plastic, to build?!
Tony T Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 We don't have utes here in Canada...too bad! That Falcon Super Pursuit Ute and Sedan are both very cool! Ford needs to bring those here! No Holden here at all. I think that is General Motors, right? They've got some nice styling with that Maloo Ute too!
Deckerz Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 iv always wanted to build a scale version of my old car, a 2002 MG ZR or the rally version or the S2000 model... Stock Rally Rally S2000
ra7c7er Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 (edited) To many cars to list individually. Lets just say every car that has been featured on Top Gear in the last 10 years. That covers most everything I would like to see. Edited November 27, 2010 by ra7c7er
Guest Sickfish Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 (edited) Yes Tony, Holden = GM Its too bad you guys don't get any of our Aussie cars because I know plenty of you Canadian & American dudes would love to have them burning rubber all over your roads & highways ... The Pommies get them but the price for fuel over there is double ours & that's nearly double what you guys pay ... Lol! Cheers Cliffo Edited November 27, 2010 by Sickfish
Rob Hall Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 (edited) The Holdens are pretty sweet...we had a version of the Commodore here in the US for a couple years as the Pontiac G8...a version of the Holden Statesman is coming soon as the Chevy Caprice PPV (police car). The US is rumored also to be getting another Commodore variation again in '12 as the Chevy SS... Edited November 27, 2010 by Rob Hall
Joe Handley Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 I'd love to get m hands on kits of alot of the Aussie cars, The new Taurus SHO, Chevy Volt (yes, you read that right!), and the Fiat 500 (especially the Electro concept at the Chicago Auto Show this past year.) I could care less about most of the the exotics and the big Bentleys to be honest.
Guest Sickfish Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Yes Rob you're right, it'll probably be the Holden Commodore SSV8 sedan & Sportswagon... I don't think you'll be getting the Statesman.... They're not making them anymore after this year... It'll be the above 2 that you'll get Cheers Cliffo

Caprice PPV
Guest Sickfish Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 (edited) It could be that they'll base your cruisers on the longer wheelbased Statesman but why?! They'd be too long & unnecessary for Police duty, when the regular wheelbase Commodore would be better suited... Statesman Cheers Cliffo Edited November 27, 2010 by Sickfish

Cheers Cliffo The long wheelbase version (like the pic above, with the quarter windows) is still smaller than the Dodge Charger (the Charger's wheelbase is 3 inches longer) or the outgoing Crown Vic. Compared to the '90s US Caprice, it's a small car. In the US, they like the police cars to be as big as possible, and the long wheelbase allows for more interior room. Anyway, back on topic, these cars would make great model kit subjects! Edited November 27, 2010 by Rob Hall
Guest Sickfish Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Thanks for that info' Rob, didn't know the Charger was longer & yep you're right... All of these should be kitted! Cheers Cliffo
RodneyBad Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Some one say Prius? Ya, I got one or two. Better looking than the first yrs of them. Any Suzuki cars or SUVs would be nice. I do like the Australian cars, they looking Perty cool..
Poncho-Power Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 reasons for the holden ss commodore and the vauxhall is that maybe someone would make a resin trans kit for the G8 which is a car i absolutly love! but probably will never see a kit for so....why the hell not!
Guest Sickfish Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Wouldn't mind one of these... Just got approved for production.. 1:1 that is ... Lamborghini Elemento.. It's freakin' MENTAL! Weighs less than 1 tonne ( just over 2000pounds? ) with 419kw!!! Cheers Cliffo
