Southern Fried Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Ran out of foil. Started ah' "parts bin one-nighter". Turned inta' more. Body/frame from tha' same kit. Engine painted years ago...just dulled over tha' dust! Interior is lookin' OK with "air conditioner duct sheet metal floorin'. Jim Beam gave me ideas...but none for tire/wheel combo. I'm thinkin' "aggressive"...no whitey/skinny/steelies...maybe "Ansen/Fenton" oxydized slots/wides ontha' rear. Meybe...whites/black rims onna' front? I dunno... Gimme examples?
Starliner Kustoms Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) Sweet! Maybe steelies out back with cheaters and Ansens / Fentons up front with whites...with Buick wheel backs. Edited December 7, 2010 by Starliner Kustoms
Terror Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Man the headers look like real metal,so does the mail box.Tho I probly wouldn't use it for a cover.nice start.
Danno Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I'm liking this, too. Especially with the mailbox scoop! Keep it going ...
Jantrix Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Love this. Very authentic. Let's see some more!
David G. Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Maybe it's done and you just don't know it yet. How about putting it on cinder blocks and making it part of a diorama? What you've got done looks good enough to make it work.
W-409 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Nice style! And that weathering looks very good to me. Engine is very nice too, keep this one going!
Jairus Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) I envision steel wheels, black wall tires and no skulls ANYWHERE! (Cranky SHOULD like it.....silly boy!)\ P.S. I like it too! Edited December 8, 2010 by Jairus
Draggon Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Thats just great, I love it! This one means business, no fancy garbage on it. I agree with NO whitewalls and NO skulls!
Danno Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 I envision steel wheels, black wall tires and no skulls ANYWHERE! (Cranky SHOULD like it.....silly boy!)\ P.S. I like it too! Whaddya mean, 'no skulls anywhere?' What's that on the radiator cap? And, what's that driving? Or, is that a 'skel?' (with a tip o' the hat to Det. Sypowitz).
Dr. Cranky Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Like it? Like it? J, I look at it everyday and drool! Yours is one of those vehicles that got Cranky CRANKED!
