38 Crush Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Does anyone know when this is actually due out on the shelves? I've heard about it's coming, but no one seems to know when. I want to get my case order in early. 38 Crush
lordairgtar Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 How much would a ca$e set you back ? Depends on the brand of beer...oh, you meant model kits.
38 Crush Posted December 31, 2010 Author Posted December 31, 2010 Boy, Even after 575 Views I still don't know when this new kit is due up. I keep seeing pics of it in lots of magazines but it's not on anyones production schedule for 2011. Wonder what gives? Maybe it's really not going to happen. Oh well, I guess I'll have to make room in the reffer for something else besides THAT case. Ha!!! 38 Crushed
Chuck Most Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 All I can say is keep an eye on Revell's website, and just hang in there!
38 Crush Posted January 1, 2011 Author Posted January 1, 2011 I thought there was a release date? Hey, Guess what, I found it !!! There's only one problem. Revell, only has six(6) hours to meet their schedule. Gee I wonder if they'll make it? 38 Crushed again
MikeMc Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 (edited) Tower lists it as Pending... Edited January 2, 2011 by Stasch

38 Crush Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 I hear sometime in Sep 2011 Man I sure hope you're wrong 38 Crush
Chuck Kourouklis Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I was gonna say - Moebius is retoolin' they stuff, and they's gonna have it out sooner than that! Revell's test shots looked ready to produce months ago...
Chuck Most Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Yeah, what happened? Did somebody at Revell get high and lose the tooling?
Phildaupho Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 (edited) I notice that the '48 Ford Custom Coupe is not in the Revell 2011 cataloque. There were built up models at iHobby Expo 2010 last October which appear in Model Cars #44. Will this kit be released in 2011? Edited March 4, 2011 by Phildaupho
gasman Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 (edited) yes its still coming out, none of the websites are showing release dates so at the earliest I would expect it will be late summer early fall 2011 Edited March 4, 2011 by gasman
Chuck Most Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Man, gotta love it when it's about 18 years between the time a kit is announced and when it actually hits the shelves, huh? (Note, the preceding sentence had just a tinge of sarcasm in it. )
niteowl7710 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Well it's not in the 2011 catalog, because it's in the 2010 Fall Release Brochure... http://downloads.hobbico.com/misc/rmx/2010_FallBrch.pdf But beyond that there is a Chicago area club that had a thread in General about Revell bringing out kits to them, and if I recall it right, they were still getting the test shots to look right.
Phil Patterson Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Sure beats the heck out of trying to chop the top on an IMC 46-48 Ford! I bet they are going to sell a ton of these.
Greg Myers Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Man, gotta love it when it's about 18 years between the time a kit is announced and when it actually hits the shelves, huh? (Note, the preceding sentence had just a tinge of sarcasm in it. ) You think ?
Chuck Kourouklis Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Dude. Have I mentioned - your avatar is just killer.
Eshaver Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 I just wish they had sent out scribe lines inside the body so we stock and stock hight folks could have had the option. Look, some of us have built "Stock- Hight street rods such as I did for an employer in 1989............. Ed Shaver
