lordairgtar Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Really nice looking Olds there. I like it.
jeff ewaskey Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 That is a really sweet lookin Cutlass you built!!!!! I have the same kit & hope it turns out that nice once I decide how I'm gonna build it. Awesome job!!!!!
Eshaver Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 This model makes me want my 69 Delta 88 Convertable back. Great job . Ed Shaver
cruz Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 (edited) very nice! the Nassau blue looks darker on your model than i thought it would. i had planned on using the same color to replicate my uncles Cutlass convertible but probably won't now. did you use grey primer underneath of it? That's what I thought also, when I used it on a '68 Charger a few months back it came out lighter even after using gray primer. Anyway, great job on it, I do love this color on any car. I would post a picture but will wait for permission from the thread starter..... It could also be the lighting when it was photographed..... Edited January 11, 2011 by cruz
CaptainAhab Posted January 11, 2011 Author Posted January 11, 2011 Thank you everyone! I did use gray primer, and yes the lighting was bad therefore it looks a little darker than it looks in person.
Kris Morgan Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Nice build. The color combo looks very classy.
TheCat Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Beautiful build. I like the color and the paint job on the wheels. Very nice!!
MyBradKeselowski Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Absolutely beautiful ! ! ! I just love the color and details
CaptainAhab Posted January 12, 2011 Author Posted January 12, 2011 Thanks guys! Wow, your cutlass came out great! nice work... The model itself went together great, it was just the paint that fought me.
W-409 Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Nice Oldsmobile. I must get this kit as soon as possible... I like the paintjob, it looks very good to me. Engine work is nice too, like that detailing a lot. Interior is very nice too. Nice model all the way, great to see this car with normal wheels and tires, not always those too big ones, which are looking funny, I think. Nice job!
charlie8575 Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Bring it with you next week, Joe. I'm sure it'll be well-received. Charlie Larkin
CaptainAhab Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 Thanks Niko! and Charlie, I brought it to the xmas party. People seem to LOVE the Oldsmobile's.
