Psychographic Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Randy, you obviously are not from this planet, humans aren't meant to do work this amazing. Now please go back to your home planet as you are definitely making the rest of us look bad. This is one of the most incredible builds I've seen so far.
wayne swayze Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Randy. Please give us an update. All of us would love to see what has happened to that magnificent truck!
gasser59 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Randy....wherefore art thou....Randy? I think you may be allowing the truck and all of the parts to patina on your shelf but its sat there long enough. Don't even bother to dust it off, just please get back to work on it. Every time I see there's an update to this thread I'm exceedingly hopeful you've provided us with another update and gotten some more work done on your build. Alas, this is not the case. Sigh...
Randy D Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 Hi Folks, A very, very belated thank you to all that have commented on this build since the last update!!!!! I am back on this one and will hopefully finish it this time with no more long breaks A look back .... Update, Forming headlights and turn signals using a set of dapping tools...
Randy D Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) That is all for now, Thanks for looking ! Randy Edited October 22, 2014 by Randy D
southpier Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 that's enough! Q: what's the conduit? and how in the world did you slice the bezels? thanks
gasser59 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 OMG!! I'm completely and utterly awestruck. Phenominal update.
Randy D Posted October 24, 2014 Author Posted October 24, 2014 (edited) Thanks Joe ! The conduit is just copper wire wrapped around a wire core.... The brass benzels are made with a slice of tubing that is given a concave shape using the dapping tool. Hi Brad , Thanks for the kind words. Thanks Mike !! David, Feels good to be working on this one again ! Thanks, Randy Edited October 24, 2014 by Randy D
Pete J. Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Randy, Glad your back at it. I need to haul out something and get it built! Been messing with rims far too long! This is still my #1 inspiration! Keep it coming!

Pete J. Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) Randy,Yes, the Zero is done. Thanks for remembering it. Here is the finished thread on it. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=91639&hl= It is not anywhere near your build, but it did come out rather nice if I do say so myself. MoparWoman Jamie Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Where is my shades at? I love the detail work you done and put into this build.
Brandriet16 Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 There literally isn't a single word in the entire English language to describe the work you have done on this Randy.
hobbybobby Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Before I could say anything, I first had to lift up my jaw from the floor... But, even now, I get no matching words, this is so incredible! Randy my friend, I've never seen anyone applying such attention to detail and no one who performs it so well, hat off!
