Finished this one last summer. This is an old friction promo that I rebuilt and detailed showroom stock. The color is Olive Mist Poly with Ivy gold for the interior. I also used some Modelhaus tires....and yes, it still vroooms across the floor: :)

If you guys who like this can sit tight for awhile, I sent Alan Raab, over at Ma's resin a mint unbuilt kit of this car, and he may be casting it soon. AND it'll be ALOT cheaper than what I paid for it!!!! AND just as NICE!!!!!!:P:lol:

The beauty of this thing is tremendous !!! You did a very good job with the interior as it looks like a pretty primitive design but now looks awesome. Awesome choice of color !!! That is the color I was speaking of. The interior color you chose is exactly what I need for my fairlane. I would very much like to know what it is.

Actually, I'd like to know how you painted the woodgrain on the interior side panels, it looks pretty darn real to me!!!:(:D

This was the easiest woodgrain I have done. It is molded in this tan plastic, so I just slopped some gloss brown( which was kinda transparent anyway) over it with a narrow round brush and it just turned out.....usually doesn't work that way for me, Murphy must of had the day off.

SAK.....The interior color is Light Ivy Gold. I ordered a spray bomb from Dearborn Classics and you can probably do 4 or 5 interiors with it

Absolutely beautiful build. Your paint, detailing and foil work really make your model stand out.
