novadose71 Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Just finished this this cool little kit up last week, straight outta the box. I thought it needed an icier look so I found a fingernail polish that looked the part and followed it with Tamiya clear. That's all
oldscool Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 (edited) I love these cars and yours is a good rendition. I've got one in the stash that I'm going to do in Inca Gold with a red interior. Did you do anything to the rear tires or wheels to make them fit better? gus Edited March 26, 2011 by GrumpyGus
Greg Pugh Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I usually don't overly enjoy these show rods if they're modified or done differently than the original (I know, I'm weird that way) but I gotta say...I LOVE this one!! What a beautiful color and I swear they shoulda done the original just like this. What a great idea. Very nicely done!!!
Harry P. Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Not a fan of show rods, so I don't know what this one is "supposed" to look like... but that color is perfect! Very cool (no pun intended!) (although I see this one also has the famous "alternator hanging in space with no visible means of support")...
DRG Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I started to grab one at the Hobby Shop this evening, now I wish I had.
Ryan S. Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 That thing is as cool as the other side of the pillow! I love the color choice, it's perfect!

evilone Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 wow thats a nice build boss and im amazed that this kit came with a alternator lol every show rod i got never had a alternator or even a starter lol
randx0 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I like the color too. the shot from the rear is a good one makes the ice blocks look real.
Chuck Most Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I'll parrot how great the color looks on it- way better than the yellow depicted on the box!
unclescott58 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Just ordered one off of eBay. I'm imspired Rob's foot steps and go with a cool color. Rather than the warm yellow you normally see this kit done in. Great job Rob. Scott
Stray Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 completely rad dude. Fitting that the pics are taken in the snow also. Very cool (pun completely intended)
RancheroSteve Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Yes - vastly improved by the new color! That also looks like it would be about the right color match for the Lincoln Futura.
Danno Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 KEWL!!! And, I for one, love the cantilever fan belt!
