Art Anderson Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 I just had to see if I could make one of these! Pretty simple, mostly lathe work, with some final shaping with a flat file (while spinning in the lathe), and a bit of vertical millwork. This is the police version, has a smaller red light at the tail of the fairing over the electric motor: Some things just beg to be made (or at least attempted!) Art
george 53 Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Do you make Jewelry too, Art? The craftsmanship in it is outstanding. VERY nice!
Danno Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Incredible ... and ... amazing, Art! It is truly a beauty. Worthy of the finest miniature apparatus, for certain. May I suggest your signature line which certainly applies here: "A work of Art." Cheers, my friend, and congrats on another one out of the park! PS: I would love to see that guy resin cast and available to us unwashed masses!

Harry P. Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 "A work of Art." The perfect name for Art's aftermarket company...
