Mad Slammer Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 I've done a few but like most everthing else I do they're highly modified. Huntington Beach Police Rambler "to protect & to surf" Rare construction photo of my Full Force Custom from Black Force Kit. Hizoot Any build pics on the wagon... How did you build the roof, looks great...
Scott Colmer Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Roberto,I'm going to take a guess and say the roof is from a Bronco. Scott
OldNYJim Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 This thread made me REALLY want to build a Ram-Blur!
Scott Colmer Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 (edited) Many of the Slammer kits have great wheels and tires. The ones on the police Rambler are from the Black force. These are from the Rambler. Note the flamed tread pattern. Very cool...err. HOT. Hosted on Fotki Edited March 21, 2017 by Scott Colmer

The Pro Star-like wheels on the Road Block car are very nice, but they seemed to be a tiny bit undersized for 1/25 scale, going on memory, and the Pro Street tires also undersized to match. They were also released in 2000 as pre-painted Peanuts themed kits:
OldNYJim Posted Monday at 04:04 AM Posted Monday at 04:04 AM My knowledge of high-end 1930s cars isn’t what it should be…though stylized, is the Black Force based on something in particular?

I'm thinking minimally there's some amount of '37 / '38 Ford in the front end, Deluxe version of the '38 particularly. Bought a Blackforce off eBay for cheap several years back only for the wheels, but within the last month came up with some further customizations for the front and better looking taillights, which I'll put into a WIP thread here sometime soon ... 1
OldNYJim Posted Wednesday at 03:40 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:40 AM I think you’re right! I was thinking some kind of Lincoln or something maybe…but your guess seems feasible!
Ace-Garageguy Posted Wednesday at 04:02 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:02 AM I started a couple of mockups using the Black Force with a shortened nose some years back... First with a more contemporary roofline: And a more old-school Carson-style half top... 1
Russell C Posted Wednesday at 04:24 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:24 AM Seems closest on the front. Could be a decent amount of '36 Lincoln Zephyr on the back, but squashed quite a bit. Or, while digging through Google's images for Zephyrs, the back end might be borrowed from this guy's '39 custom or other similar treatments.

This was shown at Good guys in 2020. Maybe the plastic model was part of the influence for that masterpiece. 1
Brian Austin Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) I used the roof of a Blackforce on a Monogram Lincoln Continental. The trunk lid looked a bit short so I reshaped it. Out of curiosity I dropped the remaining BF body on the Continental chassis. The interior bucket almost fits. The BF cowl is way narrower. The Continental trunk bustle fits the area between the rear fenders. The convertible boot fits OK as well if you shorten it to start just behind the door shut line (or reshape the doors). I don't recall how well wheelbases lined up. Note that the Continentals had slightly different body proportions compared to standard Zephyrs of the same year, though they used the same chassis.
